emythThe E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It
by Michael E. Gerber

The E-Myth (E is for Entrepreneur) says any successful business owner needs to balance three personas – the technician, the manager and the entrepreneur in their business, which they can either do by hiring others or improving their own skills. Learn how to work on your business, not in it and to create a business operation that delivers predictable results, whether you are there or not.

Intuition & Meditation

VisualisationI recently read that the top two skills that Harvard Business School recommend as ‘a must’ for executives to acquire to succeed in today’s business environment are intuition and meditation.

A great book on developing your intuition is Developing Intuition: Practical Guidance for Daily Life by Shakti Gawain. She has also written the best seller Creative Visualization which I also highlyrecommend.

For details on a mediation technique that I have found really simple and unbelievably effective and portable call free-call 1800 70 70 47 to receive a free CD and report called How to meditate Deeper than a Zen Monk! I cannot rave about these meditation tapes/CDs enough. Journal Writing

Many of my clients have used journal writing to help them achieve their goals.

Wishing JournalAdelaide-based company Intrinsic Enterprises, run by husband-and-wife team Jamie and Adèle Basheer, has made “inspiring the world” its business mission.

Adèle Basheer composes inspirational messages which grace greeting cards and a range of stationery, including journals and “Magic Moment” cards. Intrinsic’s journals are the best I’ve found and the Intrinsic Soul Journal asks pertinent questions to guide and stimulate your journal writing. Click Here to view the soul journal.
